About Dr. Meera Mani - FRAZNCOG, DDU

Dr Mani is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She admits patients at The Sydney Adventist hospital, Hornsby Ku ring gai Hospital and the Sydney Adventist Day Surgery Unit.

Dr. Mani completed her under graduation from the University of Madras receiving the University gold medal for obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Westmead Hospital, Sydney. She has worked in various hospitals in Sydney, rural NSW and Queensland as a part of her training and later as a consultant. 

Dr. Mani received a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound Imaging in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine.

She has worked for a few years in rural India providing the much-needed services in women’s health. There she improved standards of care in medical disorders in pregnancy and introduced basic women’s health policies. She was involved in health camps, especially cervical cancer screening for tribal women in remote and inaccessible areas.

Dr. Mani firmly believes in a patient-centred approach incorporating evidence based medicine into practice , empowering women with knowledge about their condition thus enabling them to make well informed decisions regarding their health. She enjoys and is actively engaged in teaching Medical Students and Trainees.
