We are happy to inform that we have commenced Obstetric care.
Dr. Mani will look after mothers who are Privately Insured, mothers who have chosen the SWADDLE programme and will also provide Public Obstetric care via Hornsby Ku Ring Gai Hospital.
Dr. Fernando will look after mothers who have chosen to have their antenatal care at SAN Hospital.
1. Pregnancy Planning
If you are thinking about pregnancy, you can book in for pre-conception consultation where you'll receive expert advice on planning your pregnancy.
The preconception period (three months prior to pregnancy) is the time to make life style changes that can help boost fertility, reduce problems during pregnancy and assist in recovery from birth.
The following will be discussed:
- Life style advice, Important dietary Supplements
- Vaccinations in preparation of pregnancy
- Genetic screening and testing
- Review of current medications
- Baseline pathology tests and cervical cancer screening
2. Antenatal Care – monitoring both the mother’s and the fetal health throughout the pregnancy ( both low risk and high risk pregnancies)
3. Childbirth - Normal, Assisted or Operative
4. Postnatal care
